Can someone tell how long it takes after the passport has been sent to CIC for visa stamp. I sent mine last week and have to travel in an emergency . Also if I have to request urgent processing which email ID do I send the request to?

I send passport two weeks ago and I am still waiting to get it back as I have my trip scheduled to States for next week

I'll be honest, they don't care about emergencies lol. I had one last year and decided to forego my trip. It was painful but I didn't want to risk it. Good luck to you.

No I am just asking because in my case they put the nearest visa office in South Africa so I am bit confused.

Just got my PPR
timeline:
file received: 28th AUG
AOR: Jan 8th
upfront meds and upfront RPRF in JAN
RCMP req: feb 17 2016
RCMP submitted: Mar 1st
PPR: Mar 10th
