I called CIC today and I spoke to an agent (Maria). She was very nice and she said my eligibility is "in process". She used the standard sentence "we don't require any document from you at this point". She did not give any particular information (if it was under review, second review, etc).

When I questioned her about my eligibility and the fact that I have applied for a BOWP, she said that if the eligibility is "in process" they will refuse my BOWP. I tried to argue that being a 2014 applicant that might be different (only AoR would be enough), she was very emphatic to say that it was not the case: I would need eligibility passed in order to get a BOWP.

Just to add up to my stress level...

If you have AOR letter they will process your BOWP. The eligibility is for EE, we are under old rules and AOR is what u need

I have BOWP last month I sent AOR letter with my application. don't stress out :)

Thanks, teb.

That was I thought, and I was very confident until I spoke to her.

Well, hopefully very soon we will see the end of this story.

Did any body apply case specific enquiry from below link? Since most of our application has exceeded normal processing times, we can submit this webform to get some details. I want to know whether this will give any value? Somebody said, they will give reply only when there is any change in our application.

Just activated my Working holiday visa for the next 2 years at a POE, instead of getting a BOWP and having to wait 4 months to get it ...

Waiting for RPRF now ... ;D

guys we've just received our last general notes and it seems that the eligibility needs a second review. How can I understand why?

There are notes from the VO on the last page of GCMS notes....It will tell you the remarks that VO has put in and may give you a clue on the reason for 2nd review....

hey lau2014. if it is not personal, could you please let us know the reason why you are put in second review? I will receive my notes in 18 days, so really wondering what CIC is up to! Thanks.

Even mine too is same , When I called up Call centre they said my file is under second review for eligibility as all my previous GCMS notes did not have any remarks , all it used to have is so and so pending and looks like met the requirement, and now again second review....Its infact the case of 80% of August applicants and many more ....When asked if there is any thing missing they say nothing required but juz pause with second review!!!!....so soooooooooooooo dissappointing after 18 months :(

I did about 5 months ago. Got a canned response after about a month.

Is it similar to GCMS or different?
Do they give some more information?

Guys, my wife and I just received RPRF. We are Aug 8 applicants, did upfront medicals in Aug 2015 and were requested additional docs that month also.I’m guessing we are in the home stretch now. Good luck everyone!
