iI don't know why people still listen to CIC call centre agents lol they are useless and have zero information. Calling them results in nothing but disappointment for no reason because most of they time they give false and inaccurate information.

Submit a case specific inquiry instead...you'll probably be better off.

Its funny to talk these agents who are face of CIC and answer based on there own knowledge and have no clue what is legitimate information.

from the trend in past two weeks - MRs are coming in starting Wednesday evening and most of them are being received after business hours (5 pm EST lets say)..

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CALL CENTER AGENTS,

AS PER THE WEBSITE THE TIME IS 17 MONTHS AS AVERAGE WHEN THE WEBSITE CHANGES THEN TEH PERIOD IS OFFICIAL.

DO NOT ASK THE AGENTS FOR TIME AS THEY DO NOT KNOW AT ALL. THE ONLY ACCURATE THING THEY CAN TELL YOU IS WHAT HAVE BEEN DONE..

yes, she said, it is immigration process and it can take longer, so don't count on 17 month, it is AVERAGE processing time,
it can go high, its not case specific but it is general information and add more 4 month on top of that so its 21 months now

I agree! People need to stop calling for processing times and then posting it on here as it just upsets everyone else.

I don't agree 100 percent with "THE ONLY ACCURATE THING THEY CAN TELL YOU IS WHAT HAVE BEEN DONE" because 9/10 times they can't even give you that information. If they do then you're one of the lucky ones!

Not to mention that they just updated the website processing times last week and it still says 17, so just stop it already, or keep that kind of info to yourselves.

Finally i obtained an update CIC is requesting an updated police certificate and my Medical Exam .

MY time line was: App received August 9th 2014, and AOR issued on October 30th 2014.
