well it just asked for

Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document.

Police Certificate

Schedule A form (IMM 5669)

and asked to reply with these on the email they sent.. how am i supposed to send my passport in an email reply i dont knwo

I think they are just asking you for a scan of the passport.

My suggestion would reply tht email with all the documents attached as scanned copy and ask for them on acknowledgement receipt and also ask with bold lines saying "Please let me know, if any other documents required".

This will suffice. After a week try to call 'callcentre agent' and get it confirmed.

Just wanted you to know, there is no pre-requisite on passport expiry date, but there are implications. Please read post below on similar case.

thanks instead i just emailed them to clearify if they want original in mail or scanned copies.. also i want to renew my passport becasue my friend sent it for visa stamping and had 3 montsh on it and they asked him to renew and send the new one.. so dont wana take the chance of further delaying it ..

Ushiee did you went outside canada?? They might want to see your stamped pages of your passport any recent activity on your passport..i personaly think they asked for your scanned passport pages..share the email you got from cic so that people here can give you some suggetions..also consult some immigration lawyer ..its better consult some expert than doing something wrong..best of luck

I received an email today and they asked me to provide my passport.I haven't received medical yet. Is this normal? My timeline is August 15. I replied the email with the copy of my passport. My passport is expiring in May. Would that be an issue? Did someone else get the same request?
CIC told me that I should expect something by the end of March when I called them yesterday. The email was sent after.

Also, would someone know a good doctor from Mississauga, Brampton or surrounding area? And would it help if I get upfront medical done at this stage?

There are few in mississauga, they all follow same process so you can go to wherever u get earliest appointment.
