Hi ,

I am going to order my CBSA records very soon. I applied in September 2014 .Experts kindly advice which dates did you use for CBSA records ? Did you cover only the period from your landing date to the application date or till to date ?

I believe the relevant period is only till the application date , however what if one has any trips after the application and has got one or more stamps for that period in the passport. Is it going to create any problem (doubt in the mind of CO) at the time of test ?

Kindly advise .

Thanks

You can order CBSA records as per the dates as you want. I ordered it from landing date to till date.

Once you receive the report you can compare the dates from your citizenship application (4 previous years till application signing date) with your CBSA records. Whatever trips you have made after submitting the application would not be considered because CIC will only consider 4 previous years till application signing date for your eligibility for citizenship.

I think trips made after citizenship would have no effect on your current application.

Hi Guys,

My application was received on 3rd Dec 2014 and still waiting for the AOR.

My first question would be, 1) I have never visited USA after Landing as PR in Canada so do I need a CBSA report ? My entire physical absence contains 3 trips to Dubai that's it.

2) If the answer to the first question is "yes" , then Is it ok if I get the report well in advance because I have completed my residency requirement and till date report should be fine ?

3) How can I obtain a CBSA report ? Please post the website or the process to get the report.

Thanks!!

You don't need a CBSA report if you have the stamps in your passport to prove your entries and exits and they reconcile to your residency calculation worksheet. Several forums here have discussed this in details, you may want to search for them.

It does not matter whether you have visited usa or any other country, you don't need CBSA report unless you are unsure about your entry dates.

Its your personal choice to order it or not. It should be for your personal reference only.

Use Canada Border Services Agency from the dropdown.
