RQ despite all documents submitted with citizenship application

Writing from my personal experience, my situation is a very definite example of application that attracts RQ. I moved from USA, worked there within the last 4 years of application and have lots of land travels, only 1 by air. No stamp on my 2 passports and family in the USA. I decided to stick...

should i explain missing entry in CBSA report to CIC?

Hi Wadel Your issue may be similar to mine, I travelled by bus, personal car, taxi etc between NY and ON on many occassions, and my passport never got stamped. I was waived in many times too . . . My CBSA report missed many travels that I listed on my residence calculation. I was a little...

should i explain missing entry in CBSA report to CIC?

Timeline Applied: Aug 2013 In Process: Oct 2013 Test: Dec 2014 (Officer said she needed to do CBSA confirmation from their end) Oath: Feb 2015 And once again about writing CIC about missing entries, if the stamp is in your passport, you dont have to worry about it. I...

should i explain missing entry in CBSA report to CIC?

No I did not receive RQ, but I am sure your RQ did not include provision of CBSA report or its explanations. According to CIC officer, the records of entry and exits is not a major part of the work for them and they have a way of requesting their copy.

should i explain missing entry in CBSA report to CIC?

I don't think it is necessary, CIC knows that CBSA report are not always correct and I am partly sure that your RQ is not based on missing entry record on CBSA report. Just relax and wait for the response to the document you sent. From my experience, when I received my CBSA report there are...

20/20 in Citizenship Test - Any new thing learnt?

This is meant to be a cool off thread. I have seeing many post where people proudly declared "I scored 20/20" . . . showing that people take pride in smoking the examination. Aside from such post making me feel bad for not knowing what I scored (I did not bother to ask), I keep wondering if...

Your question is kind of ... not clear, when exactly did you come to Canada to live? Nov 2010 after your interview? Do you meet the number of days and year required to live in Canada to qualify for citizenship? If you meet all the requirements, you should not bother with RQ for now. You can...
