Hello , my previous medical was done in Canada 2019 and then I reapplied through hccp program Jan 2021 from India . My husband and two kids got their medical in Feb 2023 but not mine(my husband and kids medical is not updated in gckey yet). In September 2023, the status of review medical line changed to blank from We dont need your medical on gckey account . Then in Dec 2023 , I got my medical request and show pass medical on Dec 22 2023 in gckey . But last week the medical review status again changed to blank . Im so worried .
On Feb 2024 , I requested for ATIP notes .. Is there any chance the above medical status change is due to the Atip notes request? Please anyone help me .

Looks like your medical is expiring soon and they maybe request new medical or they will extend your medical. Requesting GCMS notes have no impact on your application or any part of application. It’s separate department who process these requests.

I got my medical just 3 months ago . But my family medical was requested last Feb 2023

Hi guys,

I applied on 17th August 2023 under the Direct to PR category (Have 12 months of work experience in Canada.) , I have uploaded the latest fingerprint information/ medical check result/ background check report when submitting documents. And I received Application Number/File Number on August 31, 2023. However, no updates have been received since then.

So, I would like to know if the information released by IRCC about "The normal processing time for an open work permit under the Home Child Care Worker Pilot project is 12 months. At the same time, those with sufficient experience can get the work permit processed in about 6 months." Is it true? The processing time found through another channel shows that it takes 31 months! I currently hold an open work permit which expires in February 2025. If it really takes 31 months, it means that I need to apply for a bridge open work permit before it expires and it is occupation-limited.

Furthermore, can I quit my job and move to another city for work? Can I do something else, except support worker? Will it affect the progress?

Recently inquired IRCC about the dependants PPR and they informed us that it's in process and it'll arrive soon!
they informed us that IRCC first process primary applicant's PPR and then it takes a month to process spouse PPR and then dependants TRV or Study Visa.

Hey, any update on dependents TRV?
I'm in the same boat as you. My mom is the main applicant. My Mom and Dad got the visas stamped in January and then we applied Open Work Permit for my younger brother around January 23rd. Still no response from IRCC. I'm already in Canada since 6 years so I didn't apply for Work Permit as I already have one.

If you have someone inside Canada, probably your employer. Have them submit the TRV form for each child and the payment receipt, also print out the eligibility letter you received and mail it out to the IRCC office handling your application, which should probably be at Edmonton.

You can also send the documents through webform, but mailing is faster.

In the eligibility letter, IRCC has indicated that we have not submitted temporary resident applications for dependent children at the time of initial application. and I must submit TRV for both kids if they wish to travel to Canada. At the time of application kids were 4 & 2, now they are 6 & 8.


I am in the process of applying for TRV, but I am totally confused. Does anyone have any link or detailed steps for TRV. Who needs to show the funding for kids?
I appreciate it if someone helps in this process.
