Oh so many congratulations to you, but for your kid how old are they?.. If they have Visit Visa you can bring them with you and they normally give Student Visa at the Airport but if they don't have I think check with them if they need Student Visa. Also can you please tell when your Medicals...

It normally takes around a month I think.. We requested GCMS notes and it took that long. And yeah for my sister's file also they requested her daughter's valid passport last month as it was expired but after that nothing. My sister's Medicals will expire in August so we are also waiting badly...

I would say request GCMS notes and also send an enquiry to IRCC.. Its taking forever for everyone but they should at least tell what's happening. My sister is also from March 2021, and still waiting..
