More like the Hunger Games, we have a rich and technologically advanced country (the Capitol) who place all the participants in a pool, then proceeds to rank them by age, education, skills. Every two weeks, People from the Capitol will descend upon the pool and send out the precious Invitation to the top tributes of the pool which grant them a chance to get in and live "lavishly" with them in the Capitol (the Hunger Games). Those with the Invitiation then go on to a virtual forum to seek advices from the Victors of the previous games (round of invitations).

For those who still stuck in the pool (Thirteen districts), they have to find every way to butcher or insult each other get to the top, usually war between the CEC district and FSW is very bloody and noisy... but if you don't want to fight other people and you have money to spare, you can pay a lump sum to some elusive lawyers, and they will find a way to get you in the Capitol through some dark tunnels called the LMIA.

Although I never saw hunger games but your description is hilarious +1

point will be given only to siblings in the pool.
it is not like any sibling can get points , if you are not in the pool, doesnt matter if you are a sibling, you will not points. period.
Did anyone say otherwise?!
Of course you have to be in the pool to get points! How would anyone know you even exist if you're not in the pool!

Tell me what will you do with the points if you are not in the EE pool I dont see any other way of applying pr any more.
just responding to the comments of people freaking about this points for siblings thing.
some people think anybody can bing their siblings to canada and that's not true, only siblings in the pool will qualify for this additional points.
there no need to freak out about this. FSW with siblings are just a few.

Hi all

As you all know it was liberals promise to provide greater access to candidates who has canadian siblings but unfortunately last gazette notice on express entry didnt mention about siblings factor

Share your opinion:

1)Do they provide a different entry like providing applications under family reunification stream which is about to announce soon.

2) or they postpone it to some other point in future ie before March 2017.?
3)or they dump it.?
family reunification stream which is about to announce soon? i thought it had been announced already. ::)

Thats what I mean I have seen many FSW crying just because cic might give additional points for sibling. Argument they put forward is that why should a non skilled person should be awarded pr just because he has Canadian sibling. They never understand all the applicant in the pool are skilled workers some are more and some less but all of them are skilled workers.

Hi!
there is no need to get emotional or aggressive on such a issue. Afterall we all are on the same boat and we have a common goal. I don't know about others but I am NOT against additional points for sibling, what I am against is the whining that some people do that they deserve a better chance because they luckily got a sibling as Canadian PR and thus demand 600 points. this demand is outright stupid and idiotic.
Me being an international student with clb10+2 yr degree+1 yr experience is still finding it difficult to make past 460 and people here are demanding 600 points for being a relative to a Canadian PR.
I am pretty sure there wont be any announcement regarding additional points atleast for this year. even if govt do decide to allocate some points in the near future, there wont be more than 20 points.
lets face it, some of us are not at a stage where we deserve an ITA. lets work hard and do the best that we can rather than making it a mudslinging competition.

It's funny to see people argue so much about an announcement that's still not made. Don't think they will giving additional points anytime soon. If and when it happens it would be 20-30 points max.

there is no other route but to go pnp for those FSW below 450 that is clear with these new rules. I have it clear, but i will like to see the siblings points in the future. Im just saying we have skills and if we ever get those points is cuz the government decided to give us those points no petition has been signed and nobody is whining about it, we just created a post to talk about it, like you students did and still do create posts to talk about your thoughts on EE there nothing wrong with that. Cheers.

Hi!
Sorry if i sounded rude. The extra points for students are a direct result of stakeholders(clgs and unis) putting pressure on govt. if Canadian institutes want to be competitive they must offer their students some incentives. On the other hand, EE candidates with siblings in the pool can do nothing for there are no stakeholders in their case. If any pressure has to come, it has to come from the Canadian siblings of the EE candidates who are too few in number to make it a genuine case

you are not rude buddy dont worry. I couldnt agree more with what you say. I know the government is getting a lot of pressure from educational institutions regarding additional points for students. I just hope this 30 points can fix the issue with you guys. Cheers
