It is taking more than a month if you go through this thread. For tracking, I think you have to call them. Maybe someone who did that can help you.

Thanks. I understand a good way to know if the application is being processed is to wait for the credit card to be charged. I'll wait 3 weeks before calling.

They will use Xpresspost or registered mail so that's it's trackable, especially for a valuable document like a passport.

you can tell your first name, last name and other details , they will find out.

Which service did you choose? Was it the express pickup service? I plan to apply passports urgently too because I have an upcoming trip a few days after oath ceremony.

Yes it was an Express service 2 to 9 business days. They asked me to submit the travel proof.

Ok thank you! I think I'm going to have to submit an Urgent Passport request assuming I receive my citizenship certificate on 25th August. My trip is on 31st August.

Seems in-person is going much faster than mailing in. I wonder what sort of travel proof are they looking for. You can get an itinerary from a travel agent and show that I guess as proof
