Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

I can't believe I am back to discuss my passport time when it shouldn't have been a thing, but many Canadians also have had troubles with renewals these days, and this is a whole social problem by now.

Application: sent Apr 20, received Apr 22
CC: May 20
I clicked "request status" 3 times since May 19, and absolutely no reply. I didn't call so far and I think it's useless. No news either about my citizenship cert which I need right now for another thing. But with people from March/April who are still waiting, I seem to remain in the mainstream then.

I am April 11 applicant.Delivered on 12 and CC charged on May 06.

I sent a passport status request in May 16 and received this response YESTERDAY (07/27).

Thank you for your message of May 16, 2022. We have received your passport application. Your file is in examination.

It took them 70 days to reply this. LOL

I sent a passport request on the 24th of June. So I'll get my answer by the end of September lol This whole thing is getting ridiculous.

Update: Citizenship Certificate - Received July 26.

I still haven't received the certificate. I found my passport in my mailbox on July 13, print date July 8.

Anyone still waiting from March? My wife applied first week of march in person at service canada and still nothing, we involved the MP and still nothing. Can somebody clarify something for me please, Do I need to book a flight ticket or just a hotel ticket for an emergency passport? Because this looks like the only option my wife has left right now is to apply for an emergency passport but I wasn't sure whether she needs to book a flight or just a hotel in the other destination, can someone please clarify?

Why would she want to apply for an emergency passport when she doesn't need it urgently? Isn't this one of the reasons wait times are now so long?

I requested a transfer by phone and then a week later went in to my local office early, lined up and made a transfer request in person, saying that i hadn't heard anything from my phone request. The local office said they hadn't received anything so submitted a request there and then.

Did you get your newborn's birth certificate back?. I can't apply for my baby visa or oci without birth certificate copy. They said it's going to take 4 to 6 weeks to get birth certificate back. I hope it won't be that long.

We sent 3 applications (family) by mail on June 23 and it was delivered on June 27.
CC got charged on July 15th for all 3 of us.
I received my citizenship certificate today in the mail with a note saying that my passport has already been delivered or will be delivered by courier.

When can I expect to receive my passport?

Agreed, we have a major trip planned for November to go to Europe anyway, so hopefully she should get it normally by then.
