Congrats. Did they send you the tracking info with a reply to an update request you sent earlier? If yes, when did you send the update request? Also, did they call your guarantor/references?

Congrats, when was your CC charged and did you reach out to them for tracking details?

Was your CC charged? Just wondering if they can still ask for documents after the CC is charged.

Yes, my credit card was charged about ten days from receiving my application.

Hey! quick question and I know it would have been asked earlier a couple of times . Could they possibly ask for extra documents after the CC is charged or once charged we assume everything on the application is in order? Just curious. TIA.

Yes, they can charge the cc and then ask for more documents.

looks alike, app delivered in the week of feb 14 are now getting PP... fingers crossed... Congrats

3 weeks after they receive the missing document, although you sent your application beginning of Jan?!

Yes. I questioned that and they said they only expedite if I have travel planned.
I filed a complaint online because they had not contacted me to tell me they needed additional documents and have not received a reply yet.

It's always possible but it's relatively unusual. The passport application isn't exactly rocket scientist compared to PR or citizenship, so they will usually not have any additional requests unless you've messed something up.

There is no requirement for references to be Canadians or PR.

I mean, it's their fault they didn't notify you in the first place. They should have considered the delay in not letting you know earlier and issue your passport quicker.

CC Charged on 3rd Mar. No call for guarantor/references. no more documents.
