Also, will you be able to guide me re question 7 in passport application - Addresses in past 2 years. My mother went to India for 6 months but got stuck there due to covid and came back Jan 9, 2022. Should I list Indian address or this question is only re Canadian addresses?

I do not think you need to list the Indian address. She only went to India to visit, it was not a permanent residence for her. It is the same way you don't list addresses of places you travelled to while applying for Citizenship. List only Canadian address.

As far as I know, you must be traveling in less than 25 business days with a proof to be eligible for in-person appointment.

Yes that is correct. It says that on the form we can use to request appointment.

Does anyone has any idea if Passport office operate on public holidays? I have my appointment scheduled on Feb 21 (didn't realize it's a family day while i was on call with agent)
