canada post sucks

Hi everybody

I sent my application to CIO through canada post on 20th of last month, it has been stuck with customs from 23rd of last month till now.
it is too fucking frustrating. can anybody tell me what r my options.

I sent Cell phone through "Canada Post" 2 months ago and still status show that " Custom" but

actually it's Delivered so pls confirm with CIO not Canada post

they are the worst postal service I have ever seen a Post inside Canada can take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

custom review takes 15-20 days and then 4-7 days at postal faculty

give them your email id ...they will respond you about expected time to deliver

Hi Steve, please help me understand where did you send this application from? From within Canada? If within Canada, why is customs coming into picture? Please clarify.

I appeal to everybody.
DO NOT SEND YOUR STUFF TO CANADA THROUGH CANADA POST.
I have even paid 10 times more for my stuff even then they took so long.
Now I really doubt my decision of moving to canada.
What kind of work ethics these canadian dudes have.

my application was released from customs but wrongly it was sent to Toronto from Mississauga ...it took 10 days to correct error

you article will be processed at postal faculty and will tak another 4-5 days to deliver

Just to clarify guys,


Customes canada, is a part of government canada " the responsible department on releasing mail and ground shipments sent from outside canada to the country"

Canada post or any other courier have nothing to do with customs, so when your shipments get stuck with the customs, it does not mean that the courier or mailing service for your shipment is bad. FEDEX company lost my police clearance certificate with the certified translation last August when my family sent it to me By FEDEX paying ($50). they told me at first that it was stuck with custom canada and they have nothing to do with that situation, after few days, they told me that the shipment was lost.

Therefore, everything related to the mailing services is a matter of luck, no courier company is better than the other.
