My item has been sitting at "Out for Delivery" for a few days now.

I am so worried. I have called Canada Post and they are now investigating. Chances are that the signature is not updated but I am frustrated that we paid so much to get the package delivered next day, and expect that the information would be updated at least within 24 hours if not immediately.

Has anyone else experienced this before. It's all our hard work that I would hate to lose.

Had the same issue. Was finally updated after about 6 days. Still arrived on time the next day, but Canada Post has such bad systems that they didn't/couldn't update it. They really need to take lessons from Fedex and UPS on proper tracking and updating.
 
I should have sent it via fedex or UPS. Had I known :(

I am having the same issue. I am worried that my husband paid so much for it but I find it so unfair others' papers being delivered on time. Our application has been "out for delivery" since last Wednesday. Do I have to wait for a few days for Canada post to change the status? :(

did you receive your AOR/SA within the the expected time frame though? I'm just really worried.

You should call Canada Post with your tracking number, but they have a very bad system. Hard to imagine that in our times, but it seems true.

We already did and they just told us that they're going to conduct an investigation about it. That just doesn't make me feel any better. They didn't give us a timeframe of when they'll call us back or something. It's really getting into my head.

How long did it take for them to update the status of the mail right after they told you that they're going conduct an investigation? Is everything ok now?

Yes it's now resolved. It took them 5 days to change the status. I had to call and follow up with them. I wouldn't worry too much. It's their normal practice of not changing statuses unfortunately.

It took 5 days to update the online tracking system for me to. When it was updated it did say it was delivered the next day ,but said signature was unavailable to view. The first time i used Canada Post it was updated the next day.

Is it something that I should worry about if the signature is unavailable to view? Even though it did say that it was successfully delivered, there was no one under the signatory name. does it matter? :/

I don't think it is anything to be worried about .I think they may be hiding it .The last two times i have seen a signature this time unavailable.

But even if there was no signature, that was still successfully delivered right? You still got your SA within the specified time frame? :)
 
My package was also delivered but no signature.

You dont have to worry, as long as it was delivered you are good.

I remember when I had applied it was the same case
