My sponsorship took 6 yrs to come through, after fighting appeal and everything else I came July, two days later a woman came in my bedroom and said she is having an affair with my husband for 8 yrs and my husband ask her to leave, she refuse to leave and he called the police , they came and took our house key from her and ask her to leave. Two months later my husband kicked me and my two daughters out. We did not have our pr card yet. I went to the women's council in rexdale Andy she called immigration to find out if I had conditional pr, they said no , I will get permanent card, because our application went in since 2009, but they said if you're in abusive relation ship you have to apply for a package from immigration and fill it out and send it in , when you're ready for to apply for permanent pr they will see that had to move out because of abuse. A few days after I moved our pr card came and my mother in law called me to tell me something came for us and I went right away and it was our pr card.
