Can I enter Canada with my S1 visa and current work-permit? or since my S1 VISA means having a study permit (although my study permit is still valid, I am afraid it is cancelled after receiving my work-permit), should I apply for a W1 re-entry VISA?
According to the guidelinesmshirmohammad said:When you apply for a TRV, if you reside in Canada on a study permit the category of your VISA will be S1 (students) but if you're living on a work permit, your VISA is W1(workers).
My problem was that I got my re-entry VISA when I was still a grad student, so my re-entry VISA was in S1 category. But then I graduated and I applied for a work-permit. My re-entry VISA is still valid. I am not sure if I can enter Canada with an S1 multiple-entry VISA and a work-permit. You know S1 does not match work-permit.

I need the source since I have searched a lot even in the cic.gc.ca website, canadian border website,.... but got no information regarding my case.
where did you get this guidelines from?
Hi Selma - It helps. do we need to mention anywhere in study visa appln for multiple entry student thing or it is automatically considered and that we just need to mention study visa. I'm very new to these visa process and sorry, if this question does not make any senseselma said:Hi,
A multiple entry student visa allows you to re-enter Canada and you cannot re-enter Canada with your study permit. Your study permit is a legal document that shows your current status in Canada and allows you to study.
I hope this helps.
