Hello,

We are planning to take our mother to Canada on September [from India]. She is already having visitor visa and past history of travel to Canada. Of course, she can stay only 6 months over there. We are planning to apply super visa before we fly to Canada and then travel with visitor visa. Is this legal and also will this create problem when border officer asks question on "return date" when we have a super visa application in progress.

Don't want to wait next 6 months for super visa processing, hence planning for the trip quicker.

Thoughts will be really helpful.

She might be able to stay longer than 6 months (up to a total 2.5 years) if she apply to extend her stay.

By extending her tourist visa? She can stay more than 6 months? [2.5 yrs??]

Also is it possible for me to apply her super visa in India submit all documents and then travel to Canada with TRV? Is it acceptable?
