It doesn't matter if your wife has a job or not. But is she your wife or your girlfriend? You said before she was your girlfriend and you lived at different addresses. It's good that your son was listed as non accompanying dependent. Was your wife/girlfriend also listed?filipinoman03 said:
I don't know. I don't think it should effect too much, if at all. Of course your application would look stronger if she was a working, highly functioning individual. But if no it shouldn't matter. It is a long difficult process. My wife's cousin was here for over six years until finally her husband and son finally arrived here a month ago. I am expecting my wife to be here much sooner than that though... 8)
They probably applied through Live In Caregiver - not Family Sponsorship. Different processing times.filipinoman03 said:

My wife's cousin came here as a care-giver. It takes three years minimum I think before she can get her PR. You already have your PR though don't you? A friend of mine at work has his PR and got visa (from Manila office) for his wife in six months, so I am expecting similar time frame for my wife. 8)filipinoman03 said:
