I had a Canadian visa back in 2018 and traveled to Canada for a week to attend a robotics competition. After my trip, I returned to my home country as scheduled. However, in 2019, I lost the passport containing the visa while traveling to China. Unfortunately, I never renewed my Canadian visa after that incident.

Now, I’m wondering:
- Can I renew or reapply for the same type of visa I had before, even though my old visa and passport were lost?
- Do I need to retrieve my Entry/Exit Records from CBSA to confirm my previous visa details and travel history?
- Will the fact that I lost my passport impact my chances of getting a new visa?
