This has been answered every other day already. Yes you can, just show up with your passport and COPR.

Well I checked with a lawyer and he said that a (IMM 5292) will not suffice.
We need a IMM 1000 - record of landing along with a US Visa.

Not sure if he is correct???

It sounds like your lawyer is a little bit of date, since the IMM 1000 hasn"t been issued since 2002!

Dear CanV,

1. You mean expired PR that is elapsed 5 years and not stayed in Canada for min 2 years.
2. Having US visa
3. Can we re-enter and re-reply PR card ?

Please little bit of clarifications :)

Thank you

If you try driving through US/Canada border and you have only been in Canada 1 week out of the last 5, you are clearly in violation of the residency obligation and there's a good chance you'll be reported and proceedings begun to revoke your PR status. If this happens you will only be able to appeal to keep your PR if you have a good H&C reason that CIC or CBSA accepts.
