Hey everyone, i have finally landed on 3rd of March, my visa was issued after 2 days of sending the package in Egypt, and i paid a ticket for my brother in UK just to go to egypt and get me the passports back, we couldn't handle anymore stress of sending passports via courier

We are still waiting for my husband's passport to come back. It's been 10 working days so we will send an email this weekend hopefully someone gets back to us!

Or should we call on Sunday? Has anyone had any luck getting through that way?

We waited one month for my husbands passport.

No one answered his calls, no one answered my emails, and there were several of each.

Finally he just showed up at the embassy one day, they handed it to him and told him that it had been ready for three weeks.

We got good news this morning! The embassy sent us an email saying hubby's passport is ready to be picked up! So we will be sending DHL to go and get it!! ;D Then on to booking tickets! We had his passport number but couldn't find the expiry date anywhere which you need for booking tickets

Bit of a heads up though, they sent the email to both my husband and I BUT they spelled the "gmail" part of my email wrong (@gamil.com) :-X. So I never got the email. If they'd written both our emails incorrectly then yeah, we would have not gotten any notification either Sarba!!

Cairo VO start proscessing our file at the 11th October, as I told you before from my experience and the previuse cases the VO takes about 4 or 5 months
