Thank you everyone for your support, i'm really going through very hard time but it seems that those mansour UPS company are just big mafia and they need a bribe, this is happening with ups only in egypt and they have lied in the tracking number showing it has been delivered!! They really have very bad reputation there because i have even read an article in arabic that's saying that they ask people for a "clearence charge" to give them the package

So i am really advising everyone do not ever use UPS especially in Egypt

Hi everyone

I'm sorry about what i said about UPS, the package is being held in cairo airport customs, and they even refused to release it to my mother, and the Canadian embassy won't send someone to release it although they signed a policy paper that UPS sent to them and on that basis UPS marked the package as delivered

Ups told me i have to make a request to redirect the package be sent to my mom in egypt or back to me

I have been trying for more than one month to make the passport reach the visa office.... Too much delays

I wish all this would be over soon 3ala kher

I just have a question, when u sent the package inside egypt have you written at the receiver ( Canadian embassy in cairo ) or you just wrote inly the address of the embassy?
also do u think it's ok that my mom to send it by dhl inside egypt or the sender has to be me??

Hello,
I wrote the receiver as the Canadian Embassy in Cairo along with its address.
I dont think the sender has to be you. In your case, I advise to select your sender as your mom. And then let your mom send it to the Canadian Embassy in Cairo using DHL.

Hello everybody, Hope all good...

We applied to MPNP back in April 2014 & we've granted LOA in Sep 2015.

We have prepared the CIC Package & sent to the central intake office in Nova Scotia in Dec 2015 & the application was filed on Dec 22nd 2015.

Can someone shed some lights & give me an estimate timeline with the steps I should expect if my app will be processed via Cairo Office...

Nothing, I can't believe it's taking so long, I'm losing my mind. I've emailed them twice now and nobody is responding. Can my husband go there and ask about his passport?

I don't think so i've tried to do this with my husband in 2011, they only let him because he is PR and didn't let me in
Be patient dear, actually i am still trying to clear my passport from horrible UPS, it hasn't reached the embassy yet

Good news! Finally my mom has the package now
Inshallah we'll send it on Saturday
Actually our experience with ups was horrible, yesterday they got 500 le from my mom and didn't give her a receipt and said they are going to send her the package today morning but we got nothing
I went crazy and informed the office i have sent the package from about this bribe and suddenly they called her and told her to come and get the package from them at 6 p.m and gave her the 500 le back!!!
They said we just got it in case we needed to bribe anyone at customs!!!

I hope this journey would be over soon cuz i am really exhausted and tired of this country
