they asked me to arrange prepaid courier for sending and pick up the passport
but some people here said they got their passports by hand !

there is no specific time for that !
me about 1 week
some people less, and the some more than 2 weeks !!

We are from Somalia, and Canada does not recognize the Somalian Passport. It is a war torn country with no proper government....I expected that much. Don't worry, I do not think you will have the same issues as we do! Hows your process?

The visa is still valid, its just that they will include it in different documents instead of a passport.
