Don't worry...either one should work...I have seen people use both here (go back to early posts ...)...You shouldn't worry.
I have also spoken to CIC agent and they were a bit confused since this is a VO requirement but their logic was the applicant family composition...So what you did is better
the cic is agents always saying yes for every single thing hahahha i called them one time asking them about military service certificate and they said yes do it hahha and many people here didnt even do it and they finish whole processing and they r in Canada now hahahha they didnt even did something like that
its about applicant family that is what they want
you know whats pilot office now job
is processing the file instead of Cairo visa office and the Cairo visa office now doing the security checks and background check and getting the medical result and this is only for the people who informed that their file transferred to Ottawa
usually Ottawa doesnt take that long more than 4 months you can look at all people here time line
but i think more extra paper and complicated files that having things which is not necessary that what make it delay and delay
they looking for that paper for applicant family no body else
You must provide a Family Composition Certificate (“Kashf El Ahl”) issued by the Civil Register (“Sigil El Madani”) or a copy of your family booklet where applicable.
my file didnt take more than 40 days in Ottawa pilot until it sent to Cairo to complete the processing like make those background check getting medical results..... etc plus my medical was expired
be simple as you can bcz there is human been will look at your file and its better to find it so easy just do what they asked to do tootab
