ask your lawyer. thanks

Thanks cocknbull. I would but wanted to know from other applicants who have applied for Caips notes. Thanks.

In order to order copy of your CAIPS/GCMS notes one must reside in Canada. Therefore, if you are not there you have to ask somebody else to do that for you.
If you don't want to do it through your lawyer, I would recommend http://www.lawpoint.ca/index.php/Online-CAIPS/GCMS-request.html

yes you can but U need someone within the Canada to get that for u.

You may wish to ask your lawyer's office what they would charge to order them for you and see if it is actually more economical than ordering them yourself from an agency. They will want to know what your notes say. I have heard of some consultants who do not make a charge for ordering them (they are only $5.00CDN if ordered in Canada with your release to let them apply for them.)

Hi I asked lawyer because I thought as he is your representative so only he can order but now I have found out you can order yourself as it is handled by different department in ottawa. Check this.

Sir Kanamen is doing CAIPS / GCMS for free. here is the link

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/caipesfree-offer-t88238.0.html

But if you want to order it on your own there are two ways. If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5. If not then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40.

Check this

Hi!

I tell you how to order GCMS. As you have a relative there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. It can be done by email.

First fill this form, your (relative) requester will sign it.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

then fill this consent form and sign yourself

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

Now you can even pay fees by your own credit card even if you are not living in Canada. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (see section C Payment time is 8am-4pm ottawa local time)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/lineofbusiness.do

After payment take the print out of receipt. Fill it, sign and scan.

Ask your relative to provide his Canadian passport /PR card and his recent bill / bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada.

Scan everything and ask him to send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca
