Just logged in to MyCIC today and see it is approved. Didn't get any email

Hi, I applied on 30 July for BOWP online. Got a 'ghost e-mail' last week (24 October). Still waiting.

today, I logged in to Cic site and found that outside status is approved but when I clicked inside.. status is still open and I dont have any new message Sad. IS it a system glich ? can any one pls login and check?

I'm an August 31 BOWP applicant, just logged in and on the index page both applications (mine and my husband's) said 'updated' but there was nothing apparent that had been updated. After I viewed them they changed back to 'submitted'.

Just called CIC call number and it has automated reply that you application is approved and a correspondent is sent to you, I am not sure why online donest have a message for that also application status inside is still open though outside it is approved.

What do you mean by ghost email?

It's the email you get from MyCIC saying there is an update to your file but when you login there is no apparent updates. I'm thinking there is a back end update (such as moving to another queue).

I got a few of them for my first BOWP and got my first one for second BOWP last night (applied August 31).

I also received the ghost email; no updates to my application yet. I applied online on August 29.
