Ok guys, correct me if I'm wrong. Even if I have my PR card and I travel by car to USA I need US visa right?
Yes, if you come from a country that's not in the visa waiver program...then yes you need a US visa...

Thanks super as always... Looks like you and I are the only one visiting here who has gotten their PR Status. We changed our flights to May 24 (because of some other issues)... Hopefully, you and I will receive the cards by then... Let me know when you get yours... We landed same week!

Thanks for the reply.

Do you happen to know how long it took for her to get PPR after the file was transfered to Seattle?

Many thanks to you : )

Less than 2 months. I wont be expecting anything if i were you till late June or early July. Also be aware that cic just added another month in their processing time since last year. Lets just hope for the best! But its good to know that there is progress in your application.. :)

I had to cancel my trip to Puerto Vallarta because the PR card has not come yet. They told me to get a temp visa to travel but I would have to go to the Canadian embassy in Mexico City. I'm not gonna travel around the country to get it since I'm only gonna be in a resort for a week anyways

:( :( :( :(

I'm with you on that! I also planned to go to mexico and abuse the deals they have right now.Without a pr card it looks like its currently out of our reach!
