Agreed with Chigirl, my application is under BCPNP. I went to the office here in Vancouver and they said the average time for Buffalo is 11 month to finalize the whole process let's keep the hope up, encouraged and just wait...
But that would be 11 months from the time they 'started processing your application and NOT 11 months after you and I submitted the application - Right'.

For instance: I sent mine March 12 and started processing July 2, 2010 - 11 months from then would be June 2, 2011! and NOT Feb 2, 2011.

right. That's the average time but some may take longer some may take less..and correct that's considering the time they started the process...frustrating eh!

I wrote an enquire email yesterday, look what they responded today:

Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is in queue for review. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they were received.

No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

But this one surprised me a bit. Not sure how I should take it..

It all depends on the admin who is working/receiving the email. I still have not received any response of the email that I sent last week. Their initial response was: Your email was forwarded to Processing Team - Nothing after that.

From what I can sense your response is: Its in the final stage and PPR will be send in the order of the responses received by them. I am not sure if the order is - initial application or latest response (RPRF, PCC, etc).

In all cases you are 2 week ahead of me...Keep me posted. Feb 21 is a Holiday....When is your IA dated, Superboy?

Sept 15, no, it should be based on the file received by Buffalo, means it will be approx March .

I can't remember where I saw this info, but i am sure it is not based on date of start processing.

it is standard answer from them. I decided not to ask again.
because someone told me it will lengthen their processing time if we keep asking.

:'(

4m family - Are you sure about that - I kinda doubt it but it has proven CORRECT through my other Immigrants friend...Most of them received theirs in one year's time...

i quoted below from cic web site about the processing time.

{These processing times only apply to the federal part of the processing (at the visa office) once we have received the complete application. It does not include the time it takes for the province or territory to process the nomination certificate.
}

Oh - That is for sure...I am not even considering Sask's/NBW's Processing time that it took...But Buffalo has received your's and mine application in March and they actually started processing application 4-5 months later....(jne or July)....So 11 months from March will be feb and 11 months from June will be may 2011...

i guess we may get the PPR by end of Feb.. it is my hope. WHen I saw somepone got the PPR these days, which their timeline/situations( BUffalo office + IA received),.. I started to be excited, nervous, and wait for my news....
