I also think from the email that superboy got, I got and some people in the same timelines that we are just around the corner getting the PPR. Superboy was told that 'files are in que of receiving order and final review' and I was told the same thing...It looks like we are in line one after the other.... Please update this forum as anything comes up...especially Unique 12, 4mfamily, superboy, chillgirl and others in the same timeline that i am not aware of....Again, Feb 21 is a Holiday...lol

Yes, my timeline is very close to yours. They started processing my file on 07/09 and I received my IA on 11/19 (dated 11/12). Also, one of the other members on our other discussion boards - surprised- got his ppr today. He sent his application in April.

hi to all,
May I ask you how did you know your IA? seems that I did not receive such IA... my timeline is as follows:

nomination: nov. 20, 2009
application submitted: Dec. 29, 2009
they started processing my application: Mar. 24, 2010
additional docs requests and AOR received: may 18, 2010
additional information submitted: sep. 1, 2010
medical received: sep 18, 2010
medical done: sep 23, 2010

and up to now, I did not receive anything from Buffalo.. so how did you receive your IA?

Hi,

Is there anyone here who has submitted their passport to Buffalo and received the passports with the visa?

In the PPR email I got from Buffalo there is no instruction about including the date the passport pictures were taken at the back of the pictures. It just says the pictures should be recent (and in the link provided, it simply says the pictures must have been taken within the last 6 months)

I just wanted to make sure that other buffalo folks got the same instructions. I also want to hear from someone who sent their passports and got them back with the visa (i.e. without including the date at the back of the passport pictures).

Thanks
Jovan

IA letters are usually sent through regular mail. Do you know if you're file is still in Buffalo or if it has been transferred?

As Chigirl mentioned, IA is usually regular mail. I moved to India from US & updated my address. So, I received the letter to my residence in India.

hi procan,

thanks for the reply.. i was just wondering why i did not receive a letter regarding IA? i just received letters with the requests of additional documents and medical and also acknowledgement of receipt. Does it mean that they still didn't make an initial assessment to my application? do you have any idea? thanks again.

Jovan - take the picture specification guideline to the studio and they will stamp the picture at its back with the date and the stamp of the studio - to be in the safe side..They always do that without asking....(if you are in Canada)
