ure right, they take that 4 month window to finalize the case. Other embassy's doesnt follow this approach though... they wont send any letter telling IA is complete.

but for other visa office, like NY, LA, i can see they approve within 2 months after the file transferred.. Buffalo is too slow.

I now have a little concern. Since my son carries a study permit he uses the passport for identification purposses so, it is all readable, but the has wrinkles and the cover front page no longer has the coat of arms nor the country name. But all the information in the biographical page is all good so not sure if that will be a problem or not when I send all the passports to Buffalo when I get the PPR....Any comments?

Thanks Winnipeg. I emailed them last week and got a response 'I have forwarded your email to the Processing Team'. Anyone has received any such response?
Thanks

Jovan,

Congratulation! My timeline is similar to you and i got the IA as well! now it proves that IA does not mean too bad thing! Because I can see some people said if you get IA, it is not good!! You ease my concern though we are in different case and files.
I hope I can get PPR very soon! when you fill in the form, did you list e-mail is your primary contact instead of mailing address?

That made me very much happier. My time line matches with Jovan's - 2 weeks behind him, even the IA is also 2 weeks behind.
Thanks

No, they did not.
Congrats Jovan, when did you send your RPRF ?.. they received mine in Dec/21st,

Good, thanks for your prompt response. If I am not mistaking then I will be getting it soon...

superboy,

agree, I am expecting too. seeing Jovan's news, I have some hopes now, because at least people received IA and their files are still in Buffalo, it means they still have some movement.
