Guys! we are so desperate that we are getting excited for nothing ! LOL..
It just says medicals recieved, I believe they still need to start processing and e-CAS needs to be updated to "in process".....just my thoughts....
OR
Is it true that there will be some actions in next 2-4 weeks...cz I have read on the boards that change on e-CAS is normally followed up with a good news...

Thats the spirit my friend! keep this board alittle lively and keep posting.....few past 2-3 weeks everyone was kind of laid back on posting stufff and was upset of no news.....now since they have the medicals....I have a feeling that we all will get PPR in next 6 weeks..
I say this based on CEC applicants.....have you people noticed that they are recieving medicals in 2-3 weeks after they application reaches Buffalo, furthermore they are requesting PPR in 4 weeks....
How can they leave us aside, I know its different caetogaries.....But they both fall under Econmic class...which is been speed up by the immigration minister....
sam

I am more desperate to get a PPR then other folks on this board!
As ppl might know who have been following my posts for past 6 months; my wife has entered in canada on fa visitor visa and she is having a problem getting a open work permit.
I am eligible from many different ways, but they just changed some policies in april 2011.

my wife is eligible ---
1. I am a skilled worker.
2. I have a PNP certificate..
3. they say on the website that you are eligible for a work permit, if u pass certain caetogaties of ur PR process...what could that process be...we are at the last stage.....

Now here is the new scheme from CIC starting spril`2011....
husband and wife both cannot have an open work permit at the same time...one has to be closed (mandotary)...
so even tho i am a skilled worker...my wife can only get a work permit , if i have a closed work permit with specified employed and NOC code.....which i think is rubbish.....tell me one thing, given this economy....why would i get my work permit closed and shoot my self.....think about it this way..what if i loose my job....

i am frustrated...my wife`s entry is expiring on dec 16th, 2011....
I hope no one has to go thru all this BS..

basically the spouses of PGWP students are not eligible for OWP.....simple...

so here`s the scheme....whoever comes to canada and files for LMO and get a closed work permit are able to get their spouses on OWP in months.....but if we students..pay thousands of dollors, contribute to the economy in everyway......and still get no OWP for their spouses...i dont think it is fair....

I know it is not a right to ask for a spousal OWP.....but to me it is a discrimination to PGWP students compared to other LMO workers....
