Buffalo Waiting Period: PPR after MEDICAL

i did my medical examination on Sep 9th but when i checked my e-case its not showing that the medical was received yet . is that normal? and who i should contact to check whether they go it or not?

Just patient. I done medical on June but I just got updated until last week. Recently, case processing is faster than before. We are on the same track!!!

As far I know, it delays a bit when the file is transferrred to any satellite office. I'm saying this based on my friends' experiences. But yes, my medical reached Ottawa on August 22 and then they had to forward it to Buffalo after reviewing. It was damn fast that Buffalo asked for PPR just after getting my medical I guess.

When I saw my status update ("received" to "in process" ) in e-CAS earlier this month; I thought there won't be any update for at least 3 months. And I was just praying to get PPR before December Xmas holidays so that I could go to my home country with Immigration Visa for my wife and bring her with me during the holidays.

Now my case is funny, I received the nominee from OPNP in March 2011, sent my application to Buffalo in May 2011 and got returned with an insufficient documents. I then sent my application package to Buffalo AGAIN in August 2011. My bank draft was withdrawn on Oct 4th, 2011. Last Friday, I have tried to check ECAS with my Client ID and it is shown that Application Received, and it was received on August 2, 2011. This has given a pause since it is much quicker than normal, which could take up to 7 months. Is it normal you think? Anybody experienced the same thing? Also, when should I expect to receive my AOR and/or MR after my ECAS has been updated?

Hi, no I have received it. I have checked my junk mail everyday haha it could be because of the weekend. I will watch out for it in the next few weeks...crossing fingers for da best !!!

friends I need ur help and advice on this:

I did my medicals on Sep 20th, 2011 at local DMP in Toronto, who forwarded my medical reports through Canada Post's Xpress service (which takes max. 2-3 days to deliver mail to its destination) to Ottawa after Three weeks on October 11th, 2011. I get the tracking# from the DMP's office on October 14th but when I tracked my mail, it showed me the updated status as Dated Oct 13, 2011 (8:21 am) - "Item processed at the local postal office" in Ottawa BUT there is no sign of the receiver if Ottawa office has received my post because I can't find anyone's signatures there. ??? .. after waiting 1-2 days when its showing me same status, I called canada Post and asked them what's wrong with my mail, Why didn't they deliver it yet and taking too long, the canada post's lady told me she don't know what happened and will investigate about it who further gave me a Ref # and told me they will provide me some answer after completing Investigation at around November 10th, 2011 .. next day I called my DMP office and told them about this and spoke with the lady who sent my mail, she told me this is the first complaint they have received :-\ never happened like this before as they sent my mail along with other 10-20 medical mails to Ottawa ... Till date same message is showing up there when I use my tracking #... seems like nobody from Ottawa office has even touched my mail ??? What do you suggest me friends that what should I need to do right now?? Do I inform Ottawa Office to collect my medicals from Canada Post as its still sitting there in canada post's local office in Ottawa or keep calling Canada Post ???

Ottawa office has nothing to do with this... U have to deal with canada post... Try bugging them ... I am not sure how to deal with them,,,, it would better if you could write a complaint to a higher officials in canada post..

Even though it got returned; it will not waste much time. One of my colleagues had same experience in CEC category and he actually received his AOR/MR after 6 months from his first application. Besides, it seems lot faster than before re: processing. So, noone can assume how long it will take. So, keep alert!!!
