Actually, it can help. in my opoinion, if anyone of us is eligible to CEC don't hesitate to apply as soon as possible. The PR status is much worth paying application fee one more time.

Yes, I agree with you! I see some people who applyed through CEC getting PR in 6 months, that's amazing!

Hey guys, is there anyone who sent the passports to Detroit for visa stamping after PPR? Just want to know how many more weeks it might take to get the VISA back? Thanks.

I just sent them the statements they are looking for one copy I faxed and scanned the same and sent an email too. I don't want to waste a single minute. I think they assigned a case analyst for my file and they told me to send with attention to that analyst. I don't know whether its going to happen but hoping for the best.

Application filed # May 2010 (FSW3)
First AOR # Nov 2010
Application sent to Buffalo office # Nov 2010
Second AOR # Feb 2011
Medical and RPRF request # April 2012
Medical and Fee sent # 24 April 2012
Proof of funds # December 2012
PPR # No Idea

We also received an email from CPP-O asking to send updated settlement of funds as well as updated application forms IMM008, IMM5669 as well as IMM 0008E_3. When we asked them why we have to sent those forms again we've been told that they are reequired to do the final assessment of our file. It's been 33 months so far since we applied (March 2010). Hope this is a good sign and things will speed up .

Our timeline is almost the same:
Application filed # March 2010 (FSW3)
First AOR # May 2010
Application sent to Buffalo office # June 2010
Second AOR # Nov 2010
Medical request # March 2012
Medicals done # March 26 2012
Dec 2012 # updated docs requested
RPRF # waiting
PPR # ????

its the way they are updating our new document so that it can be processed as a new, I think. our medical is going to expire they need new medical. Our police certificate already expired they need new updated one. they need everything new even the aplication document. so sad.

I have submitted police certificate (FBI) from USA 3 times already. I do not know why they need updated every time and to get certificate it takes a lot of time.
