Yes after a long wait since April, I finally got Medical request on Dec 14, 2012.

Ø Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination for yourself, and all family members. For more information, please visit: **** This must be received at this office by: February 12th, 2013.
Ø A completed Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) for yourself. This must be received at this office by: February 12th, 2013.
Ø A separate and newly completed Schedule 1 Background Declaration form (IMM0008 Schedule 1) bearing original signature(s) yourself and Spouse/Common-law partner. This must be received at this office by: February 12th, 2013.
Ø A newly completed Schedule 3 Economic Classes Federal Skilled Workers form for yourself. This must be received at this office by: February 12th, 2013.


****To expedite the assessment of the application, please send the IMM0008 and Schedules to the attention of Case Analyst ###### **********

We also received an email from CPP-O asking to send updated settlement of funds as well as updated application forms IMM008, IMM5669 as well as IMM 0008E_3. When we asked them why we have to sent those forms again we've been told that they are reequired to do the final assessment of our file. It's been 33 months so far since we applied (March 2010). Hope this is a good sign and things will speed up .

Our timeline is almost the same:
Application filed # March 2010 (FSW3)
First AOR # May 2010
Application sent to Buffalo office # June 2010
Second AOR # Nov 2010
Medical request # March 2012
Medicals done # March 26 2012
Dec 2012 # updated docs requested
RPRF # waiting
PPR # ????

They are really wasting our time. Or perhaps they lost those forms.

Sorry for the confusion. Saturday according to India time. I got the email at 4.10 pm EST on Friday.

They are working on weekends and weekdays. I know many people that received passport request on Saturdays and Sundays. And this are "In canada" people.

Hi Guys....

Wanted to share my Landing experience on this forum..so here it is..

I Landed in windsor ontario on 12th december..I took a rental car and drove all the way from Ohio to windsor to complete my landing..had read a couple of blogs on landing experience ..so prepared our papers and everything and off we drove..

Reached detroit and crossed the windsor detroit tunnel via ambassador bridge..

Immigration Off : Good Evening..How are you guys doing??
Me : Doing great..We have come here to Land as Permanent Residents.
IO : Great..Please show your passports and Proof of Landing papers.
Me : Showed the papers to the IO.
IO : Great..please go to the customs.

We then drove to the customs..Since we didnt land there permanently..so didnt carry much stuff with us..
The custom officers were very very friendly..they told us to list down all the goods which we may bring later on..we then went on to add all our belongings in the list..a huge list it was..which is actually good..the more you declare the better as you wont have to pay taxes when you import..
then he stapled the copr docs and attached to our passports..He greeted us with a smile..Welcome to Canada..!!!

Then we drove to london ontario..stayed there for a day..the next day we saw peel region. (Brampton/Mississauga and Etobicoke)..got to know the cost of living and all..Wanted to be sure about everything before i make a permanent move..the area ws good..The real good thing which i could see in canada was that overall most of the places i went to very absolutely clean...no dust..no filth..no trash lingering round..which to me was very impressive..as i dont see this very often in the US..

Anyways..we visited our friends in Mississauga and indeed they encouraged us to come and settle down to Canada..

The next day we went to toronto..but this time we took the ttc and subway..the transport system in toronto simply rocks...and it surely is a well connected and a great transit system..specifically when i compare it with Cities in Ohio State.

We reached downtown in about an hour..the downtown is huge..just like an BIG city should be..saw some great places in toronto..overall a good experience..
We also did apply for our SIN cards on our way back..

Next day we crossed rainbow bridge to reach back to US..
My H1B Visa was expired and my wife had her change of visa from h4 to f1 and now on OPT..

We used Automatic Revalidation Rule to enter back..No issues..The Visa Officer took all our docs..

Restamped our passports with updated i-94 doc..thats it..and we are back now..

the whole trip was great...We have decided to move there permanently but need to check on with our employers as to how can we move there..keeping our jobs..

So anyways..guys..all I can say is Canada is a great place..and those who have multiple visas/expired visas on their passports should not worry much...as long as your paperwork is proper and in order evrything should be fine...

i have one question i am an h1b holder and i am waiting for my ppr since i have completed my medical in April 2012 ..i am plaaning to go for stamping in canada ..since i have not received my PPR i am planing to apply visitor visa for canada if i go and visit canada can i come back to USA?
