Well. Absolutely! And this PPR just has been sent yesterday. It seems that people in Ottawa started working. Hope they will not destroy their reputation of 'fast processing'.

As I have watched the processing in Ottawa. Lots of files have been internally transferred to Ottawa from Buffalo Jul - Sep last year for Canadian Experience Class stream. People had no idea about this processing centre and were pretty worried about the delay. Fact proved that most of them got their PPR by the end of year 2011. Hope the same miracle could happen to our FSW applicants after 2-3 years of waiting.

I am living in Ottawa and yesterday I went there by person,but they didn't let me in! They said this office is not open to public. Disappointed....

It seems some corner is waiting for hope. lets see if some friend who are waiting after medical get PPR. Painful Stressful experience is going with Buffalo cum CPP Ottawa. Still no change in status.

Might be a good news for some of you!
I applied under FSW(from within canada) in MAy 2012 thru CIO sydney, sent file to Buffalo in Jan 2011 and yesterday Aug 14 2012, received email from OTT Pilot ottawa asking for medical.

Also, if anyone can tell me what is the current timeline of waiting after medical till OTT Pilot Immigration requesting for my passport / PR fee will be appreciated.

I received PPR from Ottawa office finally after sending them so many emails and asking as to when ill receive the ppr and calling the toll free number frequently.so all the hard work spent in following up payed off.

But the problem is I'm not in the us,I'm in India.is there a way to mail the passport from India?or do I have to send it through someone?

Sent file to cic on may 6th 2010.
1st aor 20th oct 2010.
2nd aor 12th aug 2011
Medical request April 23rd
Medical done 7th may
Medicals received shown on July 3rd
Noc code 0213

They key to fast processing is send them email stating that a company in Canada is offering job in couple of months but only when you are an immigrant.

Keep sending emails and call them.

I beleive we can estimate the general speed and backlog in Ottawa office from the in-Canada work permit processing times because these application are also processed there.

Before June 2012 the processing time for these applications was 14 days but now it increased to 50 days for online applications and even more for paper ones :-X. I am keeping an eye on those processing times as they are updated weekly. If they decrease back again, then it is a good sign that Ottawa is becoming faster or has less backlog so PPR should come out more often from them

Check out the "work temporarily" page at CIC website, the notice says new work permit applications within Canada must me sent to Ottawa sine May 29th

It has been almost 3 months now after my medical, I have not heared back anything from BVO yet .

Can anybody guide me as to what may be happening with my application or share his/her similar experience?

I am not able to contact BVO now. I also dropped and email to Ottawa PP but it has been 2 weeks, no response from them as well.

e-cas shows my application status as 'In Process'. "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 12, 2012. "

No information about wheather my case was transferred to Ottawa or it is still with Buffalow VO.

Please help.

i got capis today
but not single change in capis , everything is same like last capis which i got in may 2012
its more uspest me now , coz after more than 4 month now not single change in my file/ capis everything going same they are nt asking anything also
Even their is no sign that my file has been transfer somewhere else , its also shit news
i am totally fedup with candian immigration system and they are playing with our careers , they have to clear yes or no to us , so we can think smething else in our life
i cannot start anykind of business here in india coz i dont have i will stay in india or i ll get canadian pr , even mind stop working now
