This guy got transferred to Detroit instead of Ottawa. I heard news (ME/PPR) from people transferred to NY and Seattle around the time Buffalo was closed...

This all doesn't really matter, my friend applied in parallel with me (initial app. June 2010) and she got transfer to Buffalo again about the same time I did (Nov 2010) and the day I got my medical request (beginning of May) she told me that she received an email that hers is transferred to Detroit. She hasn't received her medical yet...
So I think all this just happens randomly...

hi guys, I sent detroit an email and they replied saying your file is in ottowa and medicals have been recieved,but Idont understand why people who sent medicals in may are getting ppr what about the people in april?I thought ottowa did the pprs by months!

i got email from my lawyer , they got call from Ottawa office and confirming my is in their office but it still take few weeks when they will start working on our files
so according to my lawyer my be in september or early october we will get sum news from ottawa
they are saying to me keep patience and how to keep to patience i dont have idea coz my medical gona expire in first week nov 2012

i am in india and if have to do medical again and it takes morethan 1 month my medical will reach in ottawa again

eveything is going wrong here

don't be panic... just chill dude.....
if you need to do medical again it will take just 4 days to reach ottawa by dhl...
so think positive hope so you will get ppr before that situation..

Oho still few months to go. Just frustrated.

Now our file is the oldest one after they return the Pre 2008 application. some experts may help me to know about the present chances of rejecting file after medical as similar reason like pre 2008 file?

I am writing this because one applicant whom I met recently,been asked for medical twice after expiration of First medical and finally denied because of old application. I donot understand how it gonna with us.

I emailed detroit because ithought my application was there and theyrepliedin oneday, but they said my apps in ottowa so when i emailed ottowa they replied in a week.

if u submit landing fees than i think their no need of panic
even in pre 2008 cases those who submit landing fees they are still in process and getting ppr now
so plz dont give us heart attack

Will you please let me know how can I submit landing fee? They haven't asked but wrote that I can pay any time. I am just sharing this information but not to give u heart attack. Please apologize otherwise. I am just frustrated and depressed day by day why cpp ottawa so rude by not sending reply of my email

Might be a good news for some of you!
I applied under FSW(from within canada) in MAy 2012 thru CIO sydney, sent file to Buffalo in Jan 2011 and yesterday Aug 14 2012, received email from OTT Pilot ottawa asking for medical.

Also, if anyone can tell me what is the current timeline of waiting after medical till OTT Pilot Immigration requesting for my passport / PR fee will be appreciated.

That is really a good news for us. It means that CPP also start to work on the app without medical request.
