Buffalo VO FSW ( pre june and non transferred applicants) share timeline plz :)

Hello everyone,

I know that this post is for people who have filed pre June, but I am hoping you can answer a question for me. We got our PER and they informed us that our file is being transferred to Buffalo. Does anyone knows if there is a time frame within which the VO should be able to send us a 2nd AOR? Should we send an inquiry and hope for an answer or just take a deep breath and wait?

The prcoess for pre june is very different for post june applicants
I know it shouldn't take that long for you

I currently live in Canada and went to the Photo store and said I need xx passport photos

I'm about to do medical too and the receptionist told me 2 photos size 35mm x 45mm. Hope that helps

No Problem, Depression does not require a costly treatment so doesnt matter if she revealed it during Medical.

bootstrap,

if you send an RPRF draft now in May 2012, suppose the VO openes it after 6 months, it would then be expired. Better to send it when asked by your VO. I still believe that Drafts are cashed well within their validity period by CIC soon after they receive it at any point of the application processing time.

sorry to be late but thank you for the replies, and once again so when you see that we have reviewed you file and started processing ****does that means that they have counted the points or now VO will go through all application or everything is done in the file and just have to wait for cic to send me any updates, like i know people are telling that next step is medical but what really happens after getting this update in online case status, because my app was INPROCESS with RBVO since FEB 2011.

Should i be prepared for any documentation or anything else.

They must do it to save the tax payers money.

Its not only CHC Buffalo. Foreign Affairs recently announced it was closing five smaller trade offices in the U.S. — Phoenix, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Anchorage, and Princeton — as part of its budget-cutting efforts to trim $170 million in annual spending.

Applicants now have to send their files to various offices in Canada and if there is an interview in necessity, officials say, foreigners wanting to alter their visas will be able to apply and pay the necessary fees online, and if an interview with Canadian officials is necessary, they will be conducted at immigration offices in Canada. CHC NY will now deal with the pending applications in CHC Buffalo.

The question now is what will happen to the 100 employees who have been working in CHC Buffalo.
Are they gonna be transferred to other Visa offices ( like NY) ??
Apparently cases are going to see more delays.
