BUFFALO Transfer Files To Other Visa Office In US

Hi ,
I got medical request today from LA office. My file was transferred on October 5, 2011 to LA.
The letter mentioned to submit the medical within 120 days for further processing of the application.
But I am concerned, nothing is mentioned on the letter regarding interview. Is that mean my interview is waived or still they could ask for interview?
They did not ask for any documents... just medical

Hi Friends,

I received my medical request yesterday by mail (post) from NewYork office. It mentioned that my interview is waived and given 120 days to complete my medicals. They didnt ask me for RPRF as because i paid that with my application to Buffalo.

But they did ask for IMM8 and Schedule1 for me and my wife. did anyone of you who received medicals asked for this or am I the lucky one?

My E-Cas was updated last week with this:
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 7, 2011.
so, they sent me medicals in 2 weeks from the date they started processing.

As soon as I got the mail regarding transfer of my file from Buffalo to New York, I ordered fresh set of CAIPS notes to see what were exact notes/comments at the time of transfer and thereafter until the date of issuance of CAIPS notes (at NY VO).

I got the notes today and am disappointed to see that nothing has been done on my file after my PSDEC (paper based selection) was done on 19 October 2010 (day it went into IN PROCESS). New York office has given next BF'D as 22 January 2012. Very frustrating...

Hi Vermas, i can understand your feelings as we know each other from the day we started our application process with CHC Sydney.
the CAIPS may not get updated as quickly as such... but the satellite VOs are working hard to clear the backlogs, atleast it looks like they are... if u see in last few months, the E-Cas or any other status updates are not really reliable because they aren't getting updated to what is happening to the cases actually .. so pls dont concerned about the CAIPS and leave it to the almighty as you know 'Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional'...

1. How long before receiving the MR letter did the Los Angeles VO start processing your application (per e-cas)?
2. Your NOC?
3. When did you get your AOR from Buffalo? Did you submit a new FBI certificate after that?

Hi spartan, don't loose your hope we all get our destiny soon and 1 thing by looking timeline of all friends I can say 100% that they are working based on the CIO received date. don't go with the file transfer date from buffalo or AOR from buffalo.

My file receive date is 1st feb 2010. check what is your file receive date.

I can definitely say that your status will get change this week.

My file transferred to Seattle office, I was thinking of taking the medicals in advance. Does that really help or just wait until the visa office issue a request to submit the medicals.
