Buffalo to Detroit after closure?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and wondering if anyone can share their experience with me!

This is my time line so far:
First applied to Sydney Centralized Office: Mar 05, 2010
1st AOL (Sydney Centralized Office): May 10, 2010 --> respond: required language test, file transfer to Buffalo
Language Test: Aug 26, 2010
Re-send all document to Buffalo VO: Nov 02, 2010
2nd AOL (Buffalo VO): May 07, 2011
eCAS Start processing: Jan 04, 2012
Medical Exam sent: Feb27, 2012
Police Certificated sent to Buffalo: Mar 21, 2012
Buffalo Office closure: May 26, 2012
eCAS updated: Jun 11, 2012 --> We transferred your application to the Detroit office on June 11, 2012.
The Detroit office may contact you.

My eCAS didn't show any "Medical Exam received". Also, all previous update from Buffalo VO has changed to Detroit VO.
I have read other members' posts in this forum and looks like most of their cases were transfer to Ottawa after Buffalo closure.
I want to know if anyone have similar situation and time line as mine?
I haven't heard anything from Detroit VO yet. Is there anyway that I can make sure they got all my document? Especially the Medical Exam and the Police Certificated since I sent them to Buffalo right before their closure...

My working permit will be expired in Mid OCT. I don't know what should I do now since they might not extend my permit...

So frustrated and worried...

Consider yourself extremely lucky! My file is almost 100% identical to yours.Applied April 2010,In process Jan 2012 Buffalo,Meds+PCC Feb 2012.If your file was transferred directly to Detroit there is a strong possibility that it is for PPR! Mine is still a mystery,don't know where it is! My ECAS not been updated for a long,long time.Not even Meds received.

When is your last update and status on eCAS?
Did you contact Buffalo or Ottawa for asking where did they transfer your file to?
