Congratulations to everyone who are receiving good news!

I just e-mailed all requested documents to CIC the day before the deadline, which was 1/4/14. I noticed that the "Medical results have been received" was added on 12/16/13, after doing the e-Medicals on12/7/13. It looks like this was indeed a fast update on my e-Cas. I hope to receive "something" very soon.....what do you think?

As I move on with my Journey with Canada Immigration, I want to thank this forum. I applied in December, 2011 but I stumbled onto this forum a little earlier (July 2011). What a helpful source of good information. My husband and I are US citizen nurses, but we want to go to Canada to be with my family. This will be a wonderful blessing for 2014.

Hope to read more positive things this year. Good luck to everyone!

Guis One of my friend received his PPR today, I am really hoping that we will get our visa soon.
surprisingly he has done his medical one month after medical,
He received the same set of documents request as me and he sent requested documents one week after I have sent mine,
I don't understand how Ottawa is working.
Praying to god that please send PPR to us too.

Veri33,
Hope you get it return with Visa stamp quickly.
Quick question, Have you send the return envelop as well?
Thanks,

no, I did not. I didn't have it yet. and also, email from CIC said that they will accept a canadapost xpress envelope (national), they did not clarify the USA one i mentioned earlier.

Hi Veri,
That's mean they will send it with regular mail.

and how exactly do you know this? CIC says that only approved means of tracking is xpresspost prepaid envelope. Well, Canada Post has a prepaid envelope to be used in USA too....I believe this will work

copy and paste from CIC email:

"If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on Canada Post.

If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned by regular mail."

i believe veri33 is correct.

CIC accepts only expresspost national.
