CIC accepts only expresspost national.

I'm in the USA. How can I purchase this Xpresspost return envelope? I went to the Canada Post office website to purchase one but after I enter my information , the message pops up saying the item can not be shipped outside Canada, and I can not find it in Amazon.com website. Please help.

Our passports are expiring in next six months so as my work permit. We need to renew passports and work permits. Almost six month has passed to medical and no PPR yet. If cic send us the passport request before expiring of work permit then I will save fee for renewal of work permit. But they don't care these things because they are there to make money. I will be renewing my passport in couple of months. Should I send our new passports information to CIC as soon as I get them.
My case analyst is MM0168 who is in deep sleep.

Just changed to " In Process " and got an email with yellow marker out lined , please friends what is this ,eaning , is he asking again all the documents scan format that already send to them or what?

In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:


· New original FBI certificate for yourself and your spouse

When sending the requested documents by email, ensure that they are smaller than 5MB and that each document is attached individually.

Police Certificates:

Please be advised that Police Certificates must be submitted as ORIGINAL documents, in their original PAPER format. We do not accept scanned copies. This document must be sent via postal or courier service to our office at the following address:

With the exception of Police Certificates, please submit all requested documents electronically, as attachments in your reply to this email. All requested documents must be accompanied by the outgoing correspondence we have sent to you (i.e. this e-mail or a printed copy of this letter).

I think you just need to send FBI certificates by postal or courier services. the rest of the email is just their standard email format.

Same here Edmontonion. Not easy to keep renewing study and work permits for four people.

I was in the same situation a couple of months ago. When I talked to my rep, she suggested that that i make sure that our passport are MORE than SIX months valid. Last month i took a chance and sent them for expedited renewal that was supposed to take 4-6 weeks. It took two weeks and now I have a passport valid for another 10 years!
