Hi Skycanada,
When did you send your passport to CPP-Ottawa? I mean when did they receive your passport?

They have received my passport on Sept. 20.

I had the similar situation, they asked for medicals and my POlice clearance. I applied it an my country's embassy with my passport and did the medicals with my drivers license. They were even ready to accept nothing but passport copy and this is a cic doctor as long as u have the forms and national government ID u should be fine. Just call the clinic ahead and show them the proof that ur wife applied for passport renewal

Thanks for the help everyone. I did fix up an appointment with the CIC doctor and looks like drivers license is acceptable. So i did fix up an appointment with the doctor and hopefully the medicals should be done soon !

Please guide me on
1. I am applying for FBI clearance certificate today, I know there is Gov. shutdown going on + on top of it Holiday season is coming, How long does it take to get the FBI certificate? CIC has given me 60 days time period.

2. I am type 1 diabetic, although diabetes is under very well control, I am little worrying about my medical test. Could you please help me to understand the exact process with DMP, what kind of reports the doctor will perform, being diabetic what are the additional reports the doctor may ask for?

your input will help full to me

Thank you

I guess that is the RPRF request for you and your spouse

Oh Ok.. RPRF I guess it is right to permanent residence fee..... So what could be next step.? Medical requests.?

Thank you

I got my medical request yesterday, exactly 24 hours ago. That mail says tha i would receieve medical examination forms within 24 hours Right after they have sent me that request mail, I got the medical examination form for my wife, but i have not received my medical examination form yet.
Early this morning, I replied the requesting mail and asked for my medical form (IMM 1017), they have not replied yet.
I am wondering, do I need to have IMM1017 for both of myself and my wife, in order to take the medical exam?

Are you both in Canada? If your spouse has travelled outside Canada since your application, they would normally ask for his/her police certificate, but may not ask you if you submitted one with your application.

Thank you very much alwayspositive. :)
I am not going to any risk. I will bring the police certificates for both of us.

Friends, Which will be the easiest way to landing from Ottawa? And what documents should I must carry while landing?
Anybody has suggestions?
Your valid work permit, and obviously your passport and COPR. All documents must be valid and not expired- all for you and every member of your family.

Many congrats. I think you should send prepaid envelop with your current address written on it and send an accompanying letter explaining that you have updated your address on such and such date and which is showing up on your Ecas too. This should solve the issue.
Would you mind sharing your visa officer code for document request, medical, RPRF and PPR. Also did they ask for updated police clearance certificate too when you were asked for updated documents.
Thanks
