Haven't you got medical request?

Would suggest to keep CV to the point. Just like you prepare CVs for a job application. Mention duties briefly would be good!

Which case analyst officer sent you document request ?

I mean, for the CV, do I have to list the details of my duties in Work Experience section? or just list job title and year?

Hi,

Any updates on the 2012 FSW2 applicants. I haven't read anything even about Jan 2012 applicants, except for one unique case from May 2012.

This is interesting, but it confuses me. Did they not ask for an updated FBI background investigation/certificate as well? Also, you appear to be an FSW1, meaning you did not apply with a job offer in Canada in hand or a Canadian employer sponsoring you, and you didn't apply under the PhD emigration scheme, so why would they want a letter of reference from your US employer or proof you are enrolled in a US educational institute? I would think they would only care about this if you were applying with a Canadian job/job offer or if you were a PhD student in Canada...?

Immigration is case-specific - Just because he's FSW1 does not define other specifics. Just so you know, as long as you are in Canada, CIC expects you to maintain your status, and for you to maintain your status you need to be legally connected to some place - work(employer), school, etc. And besides, the requests clearly states "OR". Understanding what you are asked is the key instead of analyzing why it was ask since you will have to provide them anyways if you want your application to move forward.

During this 18 months of awaiting on my FSW2 application, I was never more frustrated than I am now. A friend of mine who applied into the FSW stream via AINP and got his MR yesterday just in two and half months.

Congratulations for him! But I just cannot suppress my sighs!

I understand that the AINP is a different stream, but I see that the definition of unfairness gets another concrete example.

What is very wrong with the Buffalo to Ottawa transferred applications?

Stay strong! Pain always has a solution. This is temporary. No one promised when, but we know it will!!

Have you ever thought about how you will Celebrate your PR?

I want to do a Harlem shake at the border!! :P

Hi All !!

I had stepped out from my work and had gone home to have lunch...just before leaving home to get back to work I thought will check my mailbox and what I found has made my day...I got mine and my families Passports along with the CoPR for everyone via regular mail directly from the CPP-Ottawa Office in a packet. Have checked to make sure everyone's names are spelled correctly. As a matter of fact, My visa's were stamped on 12th September and it took 10 good days to come to me via regular mail.

I am very happy and pray god that everyone get their PP's very soon.

To Everyone who had submitted their passports mid of august or last week of August -- Your's must be on the way...you will definitely get your passport this week. Be a little more patient, having said that I know it is a difficult situation but you just have to wait a little more.

All the best to everyone waiting. I am confident everyone will make it soon.

Regards,
KK

com2canada, relax please - I think you misunderstood me. I was confused, not doubting the original poster's motives, intent or status. The condescension is not necessary on your end, nor is the lecture; I did see the "OR" (thanks) and last I checked I was simply asking the poster because I was curious if he was an FSW1 with unusual circumstances. Hypothetically, the poster could be a graduate student at a US college and CIC is asking for verification of that, which is just unusual so it is why I asked the original poster, not yourself. Thanks for your input though.
