I don't know what are you *censored word*ing about around here but I have news for you, there are FSW1 applicants from June 2011 who did not even get MR yet, and here is you a 2012 applicant whining and crying. Give me a break! Wait 12 more months and then come back here and tell us how you feel.

com2canada, relax please - I think you misunderstood me. I was confused, not doubting the original poster's motives, intent or status. The condescension is not necessary on your end, nor is the lecture; I did see the "OR" (thanks) and last I checked I was simply asking the poster because I was curious if he was an FSW1 with unusual circumstances. Hypothetically, the poster could be a graduate student at a US college and CIC is asking for verification of that, which is just unusual so it is why I asked the original poster, not yourself. Thanks for your input though.

All I was saying was this - if you didn't know the poster's situation all your hypothesis, which you are still postulating here, does not help him in any way, and so is the rest of the people in the forum who have similar situations

Actually I was PhD student in Canada when I applied (FSW1), now i am working in Canada. I was also asked for medical.

I have a question ... I do have a job offer so I'm AEO.... anyones knows if they still request proof of funds in the bank? Even thought I'm AEO?

The beginning of my process was August 2011 and a few days ago they request to update my info... What can I expect after this and how long can it take next step? What other documents they could ask me??

Please I would appreciate any info

I got my MR on 29th August, 2013. As I did my upfront Medical on 22nd June, 2013, my lawyer responded with the details and acknowledge of MR done.

I was expecting to hear on next step from Ottawa within 3 weeks but have not got any update?>

What do you guys advise at thi point of time? I am thinking of getting some help from my local MP, see if that works,.

I went for USA visa interview in New Delhi but I got refusal under section 214(b)
I have showed them visa interview latter but still I got refusal
So what I have to do now
Plz tell me

How long it will take to transfer my file to New Delhi now
Or they can take interview at phn or skype

That is pathethic. I would request for a telephone or video interview from the CIC-New York. Someone on this forum have requested a phone interview before

Have they received your medical results? Please follow up that the results have been passed/cleared by the medical team, then next steps will probably follow
