hello guys!!! i want to share my situation...
this is the status on my ecas...

1.We received your application for permanent residence on May 10, 2010.

2.We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 1, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3.Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

4.Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 27, 2012.

5.Medical results have been received.

Our medicals expired...
June 24,2013 i received email from embassy manila requesting new medical certificate for my wife and 2 kids ....

Any situation same i mine??

Thanks...

My sitution was close to you ( not exactly) but CPP did not ask me to redo the medical, because we did not have travel histories, and I got passport request on Sept 19. If your application was in Buffaloo, I guess they are working on such cases.

Still waiting - applied in April 2011, application received by Sydney beginning of May 2011, AOR in June. It has been almost 28 months since my AOR, and 30 months since I applied. No MR yet but hoping that when I do get it, it will just be the MR. Some people on here have received requests from CIC for almost an entirely new application; updates of everything plus a new FBI certificate because so much time has passed since the application was submitted.

Hi everybody,
Is it needed to sign the forms even if I am submitting the updated forms by email? If signature is not required, I won't need to print and scan them again, and the forms will be lesser in size and better in quality.
Thanks :)

Type your full name in that box instead of printing and signing. It's acceptable.

Thanks but it is not possible to sign the form in the declaration box, for example, in the below form, even though it is fillable in every section and dates, only the signature box of the declaration (Page 4) is not fillable. Any idea?

Hi Fortunate,

I agree with glowingheart.

fill them,
print them,
sign them,
scan them,
and email them.

Hi Fortunate,

I would also suggest to print it, sign it , scan it and then email it.

BTW: which updated forms and documents exactly you are requested by CIC ?

Thanks everybody for your comments. These are the docments I was asked:
Updated IMM0008 “Generic Application Form For Canada”
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf

Updated IMM5669 “Schedule A” for yourself and your spouse
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.PDF

Updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” for yourself and your spouse
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.pdf

Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself/ your spouse

Updated letter of reference from your current employer confirming employment along with a detailed description of your duties OR proof of your current enrollment and attendance at an educational institute.

Copy of new valid passports for yourself and your spouse

Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for yourself and your spouse.

CV

I have 2 questions:

Regarding bank statement, CIC asked updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself/ your spouse?
Do I have to submit the history of all my accounts or only the one which I had settlement fund? I have settlement fund in my saving account; and Does it mean I have to submit bank statement history for both of us?

Regarding CV, what are requirements for that and why CIC asked for that?
Thanks

I mean, for the CV, do I have to list the details of my duties in Work Experience section? or just list job title and year?

Show all of your (you and your spouse) money. It could only create positive impact if you have more funds then required.

I think the long wait for PR is creating undue pressure and anxiety on applicants. These forms are basic, just like any other forms and they have been simplified over the years. So you just need to fill in what the form asks for. As for CV and other additional documents, just provide as requested. If they want any documents in a special form, they would advise so.

BTW, which officer/case analyst sent you this doc request?
