Hi,

Work Permit expiry is not related to PR, if your WP expired before your PR status then you need to apply another WP in order to retain your legal status especially for those who's PR falls under FSW-2.

I know CIC announce bridge WP which will not requires any LMO and the person will be having Open WP status means that S/he can work any where but some conditions apply.

I hope this will help.

I just received another email from Ottawa requesting another set of documents. This time the case analyst is different than the other case analyst requested another set of documents almost one month ago!! Any ideas what is going on with my application?!!

Send them everything as soon as possible.It looks like they are going to do some checks on you.Before sending ,do ensure everything is up to the mark.If they are convinced probably u will get PR soon.

I don't think so. They should send you the medical form first that you take to the designated medical practitioner.

Guys - I just got my CAIPS notes from Ottawa. Apparently my application is IN PROCESS. They started doing security checks back in Buffalo. However, nothing has happened since the file was transferred to Ottawa and the Due Date for my file was a year ago. Here's hoping that this start moving soon.

Do not trust your GCM notes completely.I was in the same situation as you are.My GCM notes did not show anything related to the work done in Ottawa. In fact, nothing about Background or security check etc.However,I got passport request in couple of months.

All I did was I sent an email to Kennedy .After 3 months I got reply and then things started moving quickly.So just do the same and hopefully things will start moving for you.

How they schedule interview? How big the time gape between the date we get interview instruction and the actual date of interview?

What were you expecting to hear from the MP? You have clearly seen their timetable, and even if we assume/hope they follow it to the letter, you would still not expect to hear anything now.
