It's written processing time since June 26 : 8 month!!!!
what does that means, I've applies September 28, 2010 and have not yet received medical request!!!

Hey..saw that....all files were transferred to CPP-O in July 2012...does that mean 8 months from July 2012? that would make it march 2013...we are akready sitting at Nov end....would they process all post June 26 files in the remaining 4 months?? I so want to believe this....but seems unlikely....I had my MP contat CPP-O and he informed me that no work has been started yet on post june 26 transferred files.....

so what would be the start date for this 8 month period?

guys!! those dates doesn't mean sh!t...

if you read the foot notes in CIC site... it says, the dates are updated every 10 months, and that they are indicating to the average of the processing times of the files that have been closed in the previous 10 months period, prior to the survey...

since the Ottawa office started to work on FSW recently, they calculated the processing time based on the files that had been closed upon in the past 9 months... and if they had managed to just finish one file... they can say that, based on the rules, the processing time in Ottawa is 9 months...

and since they have transferred our cases from Buffalo... they are not obligated to report our processing time in buffalo... which means their books looked much better!!! "apparently", it only takes 18 months for a file to be processed in Buffalo!!! instead of 30 to 40 months (or maybe more, if they were to include our cases)...

It is all a trick for the new suckers who are trying to chose between Canada and other countries like: New Zealand, USA, Australia or some other countries...

it is an old accounting trick... named depot 101.... at the end of each quarter, western banks (allegedly most of them) park their liabilities on a friend bank... then they will have their books checked... but the rest of the world is catching up to these sons of beaches' lies... and that's why they are losing their international influence so fast...

they are trying to trick others (as they they'd tricked us) to believe that it is much faster to get to CANADA... then they will drag the procedure to get ride of the weak applicants... and at the end, after 5 to 8 years of grinding and refining they will get ride of the remains... and this circle will start all over again.

it is an effective policy, because as you can read from the previous posts... there are still some of us MI1s or MI2s out there who still didn't get that we have been played in here.... and still think that those times on cic mean something...

the only thing that we can do now, is to put political pressure... using our privilege as applicants inside Canada to call MPs offices and put them into position to do something about us or just show their real position on multiculturalism and immigrants

anyways, all of my comments are just one man's opinion (me)

You should put your tenses together first before being so negative. You don't have any privileges. STOP misleading people here, who need advice and help, with your negativity.

It seems that Ottawa is directing most of their resource on CEC processing. They started to work on FSW at the end of September and now are issuing ppr to the April, May and June 2010 FSW applicants. Their processing time is not very fast, I can see only a couple of persons get ppr every week.

At least Ottawa is still working on FSW. Let's keep our finger crossed.

Hi montrealjuly2011,
Our timelines are very similar -- obtained CSQ April 2011, applied for FSW July 2011, medical submitted November 2011, no meaningful updates so far, ECAS only says "application received". I have been here in Canada with a work permit since December 2010.

I am waiting for my GCMS notes to arrive on mid-December (applied for them on November 8, 2012), hopefully before the holidays!

Good luck with your application

Cheers

Heyyy
Good to know u have the same timelines.
Do let me know if there is any useful info in ure gcms notes.
Yup everyone i know is off from dec 15 to jan 15 that is in a private firm.
Dont think much processing is done in govt offices either during this time.
I think we will hopefully get a meaning ful update in febuary.
:)
Good luck

Hi montrealjuly2011,

I was thinking the same thing -- February seems much more likely now, with the holidays almost upon us.
I'll definitely let you know if there is something interesting on the gcms notes.

Cheers

I have one question to those who got their Medical few months back that did CIC officer confirm your employment by calling your employer or ask any paystubs before issuing the medical? or just submitting all the documents with the application is all good till the process ends??? Thanks

Thank you Com2Canada and Glowingheart,

I completed my medicals on Nov 23rd and will be paid the RPRF Fee today with a covering letter.
Requested for FBI police certificate and will send it once I receive it.

I aggree there is nothing a lawyer can do to bend the rules
But you can do more by doing your meds and police certificate
Send them a letter explaining that might work

Good luck

I hear FBI PC usually takes a while, but anyways don't wait for all the documents to be in your hands before sending them. Please send the ones you have and let them know more will come. At least they know your situation. Cheers and good luck all the way!

just taking with my colleague, FSW2, AOR Nov2010, PPR Nov 2012, but he was lucky to have his file transferred to Detroi ...
