Hi All,
The processing times were just updated om the cic website.
CPP-Ottawa has been added to the list of visa offices and has the shortest processing time of 9 months.
All other offices such as LA , newyork etc have remained unchanged at 16months.

My time line:

Csq applied : oct 2010
Csq received: apr 2011

Fed applied :July 2011
Medical received Nov 2011
Medical submitted : Dec 2011
Cic updated: application for pr has been received
Medical result have been received.

No update since than
Buff closes in june/july 2012

Files transferred to ottawa cpp.

Post grad work permit expired july2012
LMO approved under catwgorry economic policy and economist.
CAQ approved
Work permit received sept 2012

Send fax and email to cpp with new work permit and CAQ
Oct 2012

Total time since start of application
25 months
Total time since applied for fed
17months.

Our timelines are very similar -- obtained CSQ April 2011, applied for FSW July 2011, medical submitted November 2011, no meaningful updates so far, ECAS only says "application received". I have been here in Canada with a work permit since December 2010.

I am waiting for my GCMS notes to arrive on mid-December (applied for them on November 8, 2012), hopefully before the holidays!

Have you considered applying for your GCMS notes? It is easy, inexpensive, the information you obtain is far more detailed than any email from Ottawa, and you get the notes after 30 days. The GCMS notes will tell you what exactly have happened with your application since you filed it.

I've sent my medical results in advance..without CIC asking me to. My ECAS now is saying medical results have been received. Do you think they might start processing my medicals without informing me ?!!!!

1. You applied for GCMS notes in October 12, 2012... I think you will receive them by the end of this month at the latest. Last time, they sent me my notes after 40 calendar days. This time, I applied for them on Nov. 8, and I am expecting them by mid-December (although I have a feeling that they will be sending them to me in January due to the holidays).

2. It is the first time I heard of someone sending the medical exams in advance... how did you do it without the official form they send you by mail? That form contains instructions for your doctor and some data exclusive of your application. From the ECAS update, it seems that they are considering the exams you sent as valid (however, I think they might ask you for new ones).

Your GCMS notes will be very useful in determining what is really happening with your file. You'll find if you passed the medical exams or they require you to undertake them again.

thank you very much...that is same am thinking of..they are just considering it as valid
the reason I did it is that i was expecting its gonna be requested within month or two from the date I did it so i wanted to avoid the doctor's waiting time to avoid any delay..and they said something about the form but I don't remember exactly I will ask my husband as he is the principle applicant

Congratulation Jak2012, I think today is nice day for pre-june applicants. I saw yesterday and today three people in this forum get PPR. That is great news.

I desperate asking all people about if they have the line "Medical results has been received" on e-case. My e-case showed this line for one week ealry of June, then disappeared and doesn't come back.

Medicals were not updated yet
I sent the documents to buffalo in April
Then again same documents to Ottawa nov 9th
