Mistake on my birth date

Dear all,

I have quick question if you could help please,
When I recieved my medical exam request 5 months ago, I had noticed that there is a mistake in my birth date. The doctor who did the med exam fixed it manually on the forms.

Untill now I still cant enter my ecase without using the wrong date (the one was on the med forms)?

Should I email the visa office? or right a letter?

About two weeks in raw, I cannot see any news or people get Passport request from Ottawa. I am not sure if today is holiday or not. There is shadow on this. It could be holiday for Ottawa (CIC).
Hope this week and after bring nice news to all of us. Pre-June applicants.

In some thought, CIC has the right to delay the process. Its their country and looking for their best interest. However from other side, CIC does not take commitment seriously. They advertise about fast track, then end up with three years of waiting with no news. Even worse, the process is not fair as new applicant get a head of old ones even thought old applicant has the same qualifications. This is a kind of human abuse. I donot see any rights for Canada to advertise and attract a highly qualified people around the world and abuse them in the same time. When the process get doubled, tripled or even returned with no processing them, is this their right?

No justice in this process, also seen when new applicant passing throughout with minimum number of years of experience and some of pre-June applicant has 10 years of experience and more get stuck for years. This is not related to technical or processing requirement rather than intended by CIC. I hope every one get good news as long as s/he qualifies, but hope some fairness in the process.

Sorry for these word, but I cannot keep things down. Its enough of waiting. Give me a decision today what ever it is.

Im in the same boat living and working in canada since 5 years ago with a Fulltime job
Back when I applied the processing time was 9 months and there was a "promise" to all inlamd workers apllying that it was going to be faster for those

But time passed Buffalo changrd my status to in process 2 years ago and actually started processing my file 9 months ago 2 weeks later got meds requested did them as soon as i got a appointment and then what
Buffalo got shut down and my file was boxed shipped to ottawa and now its in the pile witing to be seen by an officer

All we can do is wait and once its over it will be part of our canadian history

I feel your pain cause i did my medical since March 20th 2012, my case was supposed to be treated as priority but then Buffalo had to close and my file was also sent to Ottawa. Now, i am still waiting for PPR 8 months later…i am tired of waiting :'(

Well! Today was the "due date" set on my GCMS notes. Nothing from Ottawa; however, I'll be sending them an email asking for an update next week. I did my medical exams a year ago; I'll just ask if they require new exams. Hopefully that refreshes their memory about my application. My man, ramcm31, what are your news? Long time no hear from you.

No News on my FSW-2 Application. Its like a stone dropped into an ocean. No body can find it.(471 days since applied)

I have also applied in CEC, Credit card charged, waiting for AOR. (50 days since applied)

Meanwhile applied for Work permit extension, waiting on it (44 days since applied)

I do not know what else i can apply for.............

A quick question: is it possible to have two PR applications at the same time?

I am renewing my work permit next week. My current one expires Dec. 1.

Yes you can.

If you have 2 years of canadian exp, just apply under CEC.

Please do update if they require another medical.
I ddinmine a yeqr ago as well and is abt to expire.
I think they will ask for new one.

When you get medical exams request, is it by mail and also you receive information by email or only mail?
